FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
Are there any safety or tolerability concerns with any of the Onco-Adjunct products?
The Onco-Adjunct™ family of products is generally well-tolerated. We recommend that you assess each client’s individual needs and medical history when determining the appropriate use and dosing.
Pathway 2™ carries a blood-thinning effect. If your client is on anticoagulant therapy, please evaluate potential interactions before recommending its use.
Additionally, for clients undergoing chemotherapy, advise them to withhold Pathway 2™ on the day before, the day of, and the day after treatment—unless you determine otherwise—due to its potential to reduce the effectiveness of cytotoxic interventions.
For any specific concerns or case-by-case guidance, we encourage direct consultation.
Are there potential interactions with any chemotherapy, radiation, or other drugs my physician may prescribe me?
If your client is on anticoagulant therapy, evaluate potential interactions before recommending use.
We recommend assessing each client’s medical history and treatment plan to determine appropriate dosing and usage. Clients undergoing chemotherapy should avoid taking these products on the day before, the day of, and the day after treatment, as certain compounds may reduce the efficacy of cytotoxic interventions.
Considerations for Curcumin Interactions:
- Literature suggests potential suppression of certain chemotherapeutic agents when combined with curcumin, specifically camptothecin, mechlorethamine, and doxorubicin.*
- Curcumin has been shown to affect the FXa node in the thrombin pathway. Clients on anticoagulant therapies that act directly on thrombin (e.g., Hirudin, Argatroban, Bivalirudin, Dabigatran) or FXa inhibitors should be evaluated for potential interactions.
For case-specific guidance, consult directly as needed.

Is the recommended dose of Pathway™ products the same for everyone?
We include recommended dosing on each label. But as their professional, we leave it in your hands to best guide your client.
What makes Pathway 2™ and Pathway 3™ different from other quercetin and berberine supplements? Why is Protisorb™ technology important?
The difference is found in the technology we utilize to get the polyphenols into your system. Most polyphenols have long been defined by their inability to absorb into the human body.
We solved that problem with Protisorb™ technology.
A group of researchers from Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and the University of Oklahoma were exploring ways to take certain plant extracts that were very poorly absorbed in the gut and make them ultra-bioavailable.
The result was a molecular curcumin that was taken in capsule form. Tests were performed showing never-before-seen exponential levels in the bloodstream, with rapid, transformative results. We now apply Protisorb™ Technology to a variety of other botanicals so they can deliver maximum cellular support to humans and animals.
When clients start taking the Pathway 1™ tincture, will it make them drowsy?
Some clients may experience initial drowsiness with Pathway 1™ due to its cannabinoid content, though THC levels remain below the 0.3% threshold. To minimize this effect, we recommend starting with a half dose at bedtime for the first three days.
Clients should avoid operating motor vehicles or heavy machinery until they understand how their body responds. Drowsiness typically diminishes as the body adjusts.
Due to the presence of THC, clients undergoing drug testing should be advised that Pathway 1™ may result in a positive test. For those concerned about drowsiness or drug testing, a THC-free version of Pathway 1™ is available as an alternative option.
For individualized recommendations, please assess each client’s needs accordingly.
Are these products approved by the FDA?
Dietary supplements are regulated by the FDA with regards to manufacture and label claims. However, supplements are never approved in the way that pharmaceutical drugs are.
All our products, including our Pathway™ products, are manufactured in strict accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) protocols in our own pharma manufacturing facility. Our facility has been inspected by the FDA.
Where do you source the ingredients in the Pathway™ products?
Many of our ingredients are sourced from India (where most of the world’s curcumin is grown) and the Middle East, with some support ingredients sourced from the United States and other parts of Asia. We source from companies that work with local farmers who do NOT use pesticides or GMOs.
When ingredients hit our loading dock, they are put into a “quarantine” status until we can test for whether the ingredient is actually that which is on the label. We run numerous purity tests throughout the entire production process. In addition, there are additional tests and standard operating procedures that are part of our GMP certification.
Where are the products made?
All our products are made at our FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility in central Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in the U.S.A.
What does natural cell clearing mean?
Natural cell clearing relates to the natural death of an old or damaged cell. Curcumin and quercetin may help your body clear those cells to make room for newer cells by stimulating the p53 pathway.*
What is healthy cell division, proliferation, and differentiation?
Pathway 1™ contains three ingredients that support different cellular pathways in our cells.* For example, hemp extract may support the PPAR-gamma pathway – an epigenetic pathway responsible for the differentiation and division of cells.* Frankincense may support optimal cell proliferation by influencing the caspase pathway.*
